Jabalpur Mission with its humble beginnings in 1840's became an ecclesiastical unit (Prefecture Apostolic) in 1932 and in 1954 it became a diocese. The diocese grew steadily with leaps and bounds, smiles and tears, successes and failures.

• the cause of Jesus Christ and His Mission in Jabalpur.
• The Jabalpur Diocesan Educational Society is situated at-
• Bishop's House, 599, Sneh Sadan,Civil Lines,Jabalpur Tahsil of-

the Jabalpur district. The objects of the Society are - To diffuse social, scientific, secular and moral knowledge. For the realization of these objects the Society endeavours to establish administer educational institutions and hostels.
